Outdoor Fall vibes going strong!4 min read

Hey… it’s been a minute! I’ve had a crazy summer moving downtown (so fun) and just having a great time. I’m sorry I haven’t sent an email in a while, but I hope to get back in the groove so I can continue to share about places I have discovered that I think you will love. Just because Labor Day has come and gone, Fall vibes are a great way for you to hit up all the great outdoor spots in town. I can seriously say there is not a day where you can’t find something to do in this great city of ours.

 Here are some that I love to visit this time of year. 

Somerset ~ the new absolutely amazing bar that just opened and is blowing up on social media because it’s the kind of place you go to and you want to take pictures every time you turn around. Let’s just say jungle feelz with little hidden areas for you to sit (like a gondola and a bus) and enjoy your cocktail all over the place. 

Bar Saeso ~ adorable setting that makes you feel like you just stumbled in from an alley in Italy or Spain. The surprise is in the back patio especially when you can grab one of Cincy’s best tacos at Pata Roja Taqueria truck. Saeso ~ originally spelled Caeso was the name of Lucius Quinctius Cincinnatus’ son. He was known to be a troublemaker, to say the least. So go grab a great cocktail and try not to make any trouble :) 

Jerry’s Jug House ~  Snuggled in a neighborhood of tree-lined streets in Newport, is a great spot to grab a fun cocktail like an adult Capri Sun and they are seriously doing some great things in the kitchen lately!

Che ~ OTR’s quiet little spot that has the most magical courtyard in the back. This is just one of those places that make you feel like you’re on vacation. 

Covington Yard~ This is a great day drinking place. Good cocktails, a variety of food trucks, and wide-open fresh air!  

The Standard ~ Covington’s old gas station transformed into the cutest place ever! I have written about The Standard and had them on my Channel 9 spot you can read my blog HERE. So, if you haven’t gone, you need to go. 

Fountain Square ~ Every night they have something going on… they have trivia night, bands, special events and it’s a great place to watch the Bengal games especially with the new box bar that is there to serve your favorite drinks. 

Pepp & Dolores ~ I love that all the windows open up and the outdoor seating is so dang cute.. Oh, and the food is amazing! I have written about Pepp before you can click HERE for my details…but I just love the outdoor vibe as much as the awesome indoors. 

Queen City Radio ~ Fantastic place to grab drinks with your crew! Lively atmosphere and good times. 

Mecca ~ Could be one of my  “go-to”  spots because it’s tucked away and eclectic, ohh and I love a Chunker and you will too :) (Sanpellegrino with a mini bottle of liquor) 

The New Ovation Music Pavilion in Newport ~  offers an intimate venue for both indoor and outdoor concerts. There isn’t a bad seat in the house so check out the lineup of shows coming up. I got to attend the Lady A concert and am looking forward to a few more they have coming up. Great venue and the drink lines were short and quick! It was very spread out and just a fun atmosphere.

Fun tip ~ The little food trucks at the BP gas stations around town, especially the one by Rookwood are worth a visit! I’m not kidding, they have some damn good tacos trust me. 

Pedal Wagon~ The Wagon is such a fun way to party through the streets of Cincinnati and experience some of our best bars. Get fun pictures in front of our iconic ArtWorks murals or pre-party before a Bengals game… what a perfect tailgate! The fun picture in front of the first distillery in Cincy since Prohibition.. Northside Distilling Co. is a must-visit while you’re downtown!
